Here is a great link for reviewing star spectra. CPPS remember that when the spectra is shifted to the red side it is evidence for an expanding universe.

Evidence for the "Big Bang Theory"

The first piece of evidence is the cosmological red shift. when an object moves away from us the light waves are stretched to the longer wavelengths and lower frequencies. In an expanding universe light fro distant stars is said to be red shifted.

Cosmic microwave background radiation. This radiation is very low energy and very uniform throughout the universe. This energy is theorized to be leftover from the Big Bang.

Between 1943 and 1945, two U.S. Navy aircraft carriers stationed at Navy Pier in Chicago functioned as training platforms for about 17,000 pilots, signal officers and other personnel. Former President George H. W. Bush was among the pilots who learned to take off and land on the 500-foot long carrier decks.
